Fred Ball

Fred Ball was born Jan. 15, 1915, in Elmore City, Okla. He married Johnnie Syble Hart on Aug. 18, 1941. He was ordained a minister by the Assemblies of God in April 1941. He served as C.A. president of the West Texas District for two years.

His 57-year ministry included pastorates in Denver City, Pecos, Dalhart, Boenre, Ninecah, Okla., Elm Grove, Okla., Girard, Okla., and Stillwater, Okla. He pastored for 13 years at Central Assembly of God Church in Peoria, Ill., where he built a new 700-seat church. His final pastorate was at Eureka, Ill.

Brother Ball died Friday, Oct. 15, 1999, in San Antonio.
