James K. Bridges

A proud Texan, James Bridges spent 58 years in gospel ministry. He pastored in Texas and Kansas for 20 years. For three years he served Southwestern Assemblies of God College as a vice president.

From 1977 to 1981, Bridges was the assistant superintendent of the North Texas District Council. He was elected superintendent of the North Texas District Council in 1981 and served in that position until 1993, when he was elected the general treasurer of the Assemblies of God. After his retirement from excutive office he played a key role in the annual national AG Prayer and Bible Conference.

Brother Bridges went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 31, 2010.
